Who is Kelly Brealey?

I know how important it is for you to get to know and trust me in order to feel comfortable with me. This is why I wish to tell you a little bit about myself.

I have survived child sexual abuse, the untimely and traumatic loss of my younger sister and then my Mother, I escaped domestic violence, survived a near death experience, and know what it is like to be a single mother, bankrupt, and living off of food hampers from the Salvation Army.

At the age of 33, my life took a significant turn after a bout of depression so severe, it left me suicidal; I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

It was after my treatment and healing that I searched for answers - I no longer knew who I was, or how I managed to survive. After all that I had endured, I wanted to know what it was that had kept me hanging in there - what was it that gave me my resilience and determination to succeed?

After years of study and self-exploration, I became a Clinical Hypnotherapist/psychotherapist and mindset Coach. I wanted to help others who had survived, just like I had, but were fed up with being a survivor; they wanted to THRIVE.

I have overcome all of the obstacles that life has thrown at me, to feel successful, fulfilled, and happy in ALL areas of my life, including my business.

I want to help other survivors to do the same.

I understand only too well, how challenging it is to achieve your goals when you have the legacy of trauma and mental illness to contend with. I am also here to tell you that thriving after trauma is possible.

Despite all that I have lived through, I still see life as a beautiful gift. I am able to greet each day with awe and gratitude. I am passionate, energetic, and enthusiastic, and I owe it all to my mindset. My mindset has enabled me to achieve every goal I have set for myself, including moving to our dream property.

I have an amazing husband, five incredible adult-aged children, and am a first time grandparent!

I am incredibly vocal about mental health and wellness, and as such, I am the Co-Founder of a community not-for-profit venture called "The Human Bean Project". The project's aim is to decrease the stigma, and the loneliness and isolating effects of mental illness. I personally dedicate a large amount of my time, finances, and energy to this passion and feel incredibly blessed to be able to do so.

Coaching survivors to feel strong, confident, accomplished and successful - despite all the obstacles - is such a huge passion of mine, and it is my absolute honour to partner with you to help you achieve your goals, and move from survivor to thriver.
